Scientific Conference

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to the one-day scientific conference “From the Microscope to Public Health Strategies – Parasitology from a One Health Perspective”, which will take place on 25 April 2026 at the Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, under the honorary patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Biology.
The conference is organized to celebrate the awarding of Honorary Membership of the Polish Parasitological Society to Professor Edward Siński, an outstanding parasitologist, long-standing researcher at the University of Warsaw, and former Head of the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw. As Professor Siński was unable to attend the Society’s most recent Congress in person, the scientific community wished to honor his achievements during this special scientific event.
The conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum bringing together parasitologists, epidemiologists, immunologists, physicians, laboratory diagnosticians, and biologists working on parasitic diseases, including tick-borne infections.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. We kindly ask all participants to complete the online registration form, which will help us organize the event. Please note that the number of places is limited. Members of the Polish Parasitological Society will be given priority in the registration process.
